Massaman Curry – Indian version !

This is a slight detour from the traditional recipe – using cottage cheese (paneer) instead of chicken 🙂

Make sure you grill/shallow fry the paneer for this recipe !

    • Thank you for your interest and yes, here is the full recipe,

      You’ll need,

      Cottage cheese (paneer) / chicken (boneless) – 200g cubed
      Capsicum – 1 no. (large) cubed
      Onion – 1 no. (large) cubed
      Olive oil – 1 tbsp.
      Red Thai Massaman Curry paste – 1 1/2 tbsp.
      Coconut milk – 1 cup (watery and not too thick)

      Grill/ shallow fry the paneer/ chicken and keep it aside. In a medium sized flat bottom pan, heat oil and add the curry paste. Let it sizzle for a minute. Add the onions and capsicum to this and sautee for a min. Mix in the paneer/chicken and wait for a minute before you add the coconut milk. Add a pinch of salt, and more water if required. Cover and let it simmer for 10mins. Pour over rice and serve 🙂
